EA ACCESS TERMS

Last Updated: September 27, 2019

EA Access is a subscription program provided to you by Electronic Arts ("EA"). These Terms describe your rights to use EA Access and any of the EA Content (defined as EA games, in-game entitlements, add-on content, and downloadable content) offered as part of the subscription ("EA Access Services"). EA may revise these Terms at any time in its sole discretion. When EA revises these Terms, we change the "Last Updated" date above and post the revised Terms at http://tos.ea.com/legalapp/eaaccess/US/au/PC. Revisions to terms affecting existing EA Access Services shall be effective 30 days after posting at http://www.ea.com/en-au/ea-access; terms for new EA Access Services are effective immediately upon posting. If you have any questions regarding the EA Access Services, please contact EA customer support at http://help.ea.com/au.

The purchase of an EA Access subscription is made through Microsoft or Sony Interactive Entertainment Network Europe Limited (SIENE) (the “Platforms”) and not EA. In order to subscribe to EA Access, you must complete your selected Platform’s purchase process. You will be bound by your selected Platform’s terms and conditions, including its terms of use, located at http://www.xbox.com/legal/livetou for Microsoft and https://www.playstation.com/PSNTerms for SIENE. Please contact the applicable Platform with any questions regarding your purchase. Purchase of an EA Access subscription on one Platform does not enable a user to access the EA Access Services on the other Platform.

An active EA Account ("EA Account") is required to subscribe to EA Access. To open an EA Account you must be at least 13 years of age and accept EA's User Agreement (terms.ea.com) and Privacy and Cookie Policy (privacy.ea.com).

When you purchase an EA Access subscription from Microsoft or SIENE, you are purchasing an on-going subscription with recurring billing so read the information provided by SIENE carefully as it will explain the cost, method and frequency of charges and your cancellation rights. See the applicable Platform’s terms of use and cancellation instructions: www.xbox.com/legal/livetou for Microsoft, and https://playstation.com/en-au/legal/playstation-store-and-sony-entertainment-network-store-cancellation-policy/ for purchases from SIENE.

As part of the EA Access Services, members with an active subscription are offered (1) access to play a limited trial of certain EA Content up to 3 days prior to the date that EA Content is otherwise available on the applicable Platform’s store ("Play First Trial"), (2) discounts on certain EA Content offered through the applicable Platform’s store ("Discounts"); and (3) access to a limited library of certain EA Content ("Vault") for unlimited online play ("Vault Access") for the duration of their availability in the Vault. Limitations and exclusions apply. Vault titles require an Internet connection to confirm an active EA Access subscription upon initial launch of EA Access game software and periodically thereafter (on a weekly or monthly basis, depending on Platform) for online and offline play. Release dates of games and related Play First Trials may be subject to change. For upcoming EA Content eligible for Play First Trials and Discounts, for current EA Content available in the Vault, and details on other membership benefits for your selected Platform, see http://www.ea.com/en-au/ea-access. Not all EA Content is available on all Platforms; certain EA Content may be excluded from Play First Trials, the Vault, and/or Discounts. See http://www.ea.com/en-au/ea-access for details on such exclusions as they become available.

EA reserves the right to change and update the EA Access Services, and the EA Content offered through the EA Access Services without any liability to you. Vault titles are subject to change and may be removed, and the online services for certain Vault titles may be discontinued. In the event that EA changes the EA Access Services, including the removal of Vault titles or discontinuation of online services for certain Vault titles, we will provide 30 days advance notice to you by posting a notice on https://www.ea.com/en-au/ea-access/terms/service-vault-updates.

Your selected Platform may terminate your subscription if you fail to comply with the applicable terms of use http://www.xbox.com/legal/xboxcomtou (Microsoft) or https://www.playstation.com/PSNTerms for SIENE. Likewise, EA may terminate your EA Account, thereby blocking you from the EA Access Services, for any violation of the EA User Agreement (terms.ea.com). Please note, unless required by law, all EA Content purchased in connection with the EA Access Services (including, without limitation, purchases made in connection with Vault titles) are non-refundable and non-transferable. If your subscription to EA Access is cancelled or otherwise terminated, you will not have further access to EA Content until and unless you purchase the EA Content or Vault title separately. In addition, Vault titles contain functionality designed to disable access to those Vault titles in the event that (1) your subscription is cancelled or otherwise terminated or (2) EA decides, in its sole discretion, to remove certain Vault titles as described above.
